Inductive Loop Systems
For those that are hearing impaired an inductive loop system is one way to assist.
A loop of cable is installed around the perimeter of the room and connected to a current driven amplifier. A signal is transmitted wirelessly by means of induction and is received by the users hearing aid.
All installed systems adhere to the Disability Act and are provided with certification.
Sound Limitors
If your venue is receiving noise complaints from neighbours a sound limitor type device is required.
The Drawmer SP2120 Speaker protector is our favoured approach to controlling noise levels within venues.
Other manufacturers models are also available and there are other methods which brutally cut the mains power to sound equipment however this model does not affect the quality of the sound once it is in operation.
Once levels are preset the unit can be locked by a removable key.

In-house repairs
Whether you require a new jack plug soldering on to the end of a lead or your amplifier appears to have gone into meltdown BAV are here to assist you in getting back up and running.
An initial 5 minute assessment is provided free of charge. Further diagnostic time and actual repair is chargeable.
Equipment requiring a return to manufacturers is liable to inspection and carriage charges payable in advance.
On-site repairs
When your faulty item of equipment is permanently fixed to the wall or ceiling its not so easy to get it repaired.
BAV are regularly requested to fault find on site and fault diagnostic time can often be time consuming.
BAV will always advise if new replacement equipment is more financially viable than paying for fault diagnosis, repair, temporary equipment hire cost and re-installation.
From our extensive hire stocks BAV can often install temporary equipment to get a venue back up and running.
Custom Cable Manufacture
BAV are happy to manufacture any type of lead you require.
Sometimes you need to interface equipment in a non-standard manner.
BAV have the expertise to manufacture any type of lead quite often at short notice.
PAT - Portable Appliance Testing
Not only do BAV regularly PAT test its own hire stock of equipment we regularly undertake PAT testing for many of our customers and clients.
PAT certificates are available for our own equipment as well as for customers equipment.
Please contact us in advance if you require multiple items to be PAT tested however small quantities of equipment can be PAT tested whilst you wait.
Test Equipment
Due to our busy installation department BAV have a whole host of specialised test equipment.
Test equipment is available for hire or for one off tests you are welcome to bring your equipment to us.
